The work may have changed, but the values have stayed with us.

Exton is more than a name above the door. It is a family name with more than 30 years of history serving customers in the retail sector.

Long before Exton Group existed, the Exton name was behind greengrocers serving communities across the UK. They were very different businesses from the one we run today, but many of the principles were exactly the same.

Know your customers. Listen to what they need. Give honest advice. Offer good value. Take pride in what you do. And if you say you’re going to do something, make sure you do it.

Those ideas might sound simple, but they mean a lot to us.

They’re the reason we take customer service personally, why we pay attention to the small details and why we want people to feel looked after from the first conversation through to the finished job.

Today, the business brings together everything we’ve learned along the way

Signs

From individual signs and vehicle graphics to internal, external and specialist signage, we can support projects from survey and design through to manufacture and installation.

Retail

Our retail work includes surveying, multi-site programmes, project management, installation management and subcontracted support for businesses that need experienced resource inside their own operation.

Digital

Our digital work supports the visual and technical side of the projects we deliver, including graphic design, artwork development and the digital tools that help projects run more effectively.

The three areas often overlap.

A signage project might need a survey and project management. A retail rollout might need drawings, installation coordination and digital reporting. A subcontracted project might need us to work directly within another company’s team.

That flexibility is intentional.

We want customers to be able to ask us for help with the whole problem, not just the small part that happens to fit neatly inside a service list.

We take care of the details, from the first conversation to the final handover

Good project delivery isn’t about making things more complicated than they need to be.

We start by understanding what you’re trying to achieve, then work through the practical details before they have a chance to become problems.

That could mean surveying a site, challenging an unsuitable material, planning around a live retail environment or coordinating several different teams around one installation.

The process changes depending on the project, but our approach doesn’t. We communicate clearly, take ownership and keep things moving.

We start by listening

Before recommending anything, we take the time to understand what you need, where the work is going and anything that could affect the project.
1

We check the details

Where needed, we survey the site, vehicle or environment properly, take measurements and identify risks before work begins.
2

We recommend what makes sense

We develop the solution, explain the options and recommend materials or methods based on what the project actually needs.
3

We take ownership of delivery

From manufacture and call-offs to access, installation and other trades, we keep the moving parts organised and people informed.
4

We finish the job properly

We make sure the work is complete, the details have been dealt with and you know where things stand before we consider the project finished.
