Our surveyors are experienced in working within active retail and commercial environments where care, communication and minimal disruption are essential. We coordinate with site teams, work around customers and make sure the areas being surveyed are treated with respect.
The information we capture depends on the needs of the project. This can include accurate dimensions, photographs, access restrictions, fixing surfaces, existing equipment, available services, site conditions and any observations that could affect the proposed work.
Once the site visit is complete, we turn the raw information into a clear digital survey pack. Reports can include organised photographs, measurements, written observations, proposed locations and any areas requiring further consideration.
Where clients provide store GAs, floor plans or other drawings, we can add annotations showing proposed positions, dimensions and relevant site information. This gives design, production, project and installation teams a practical document they can work from.
For multi-site programmes, we can develop an agreed survey process and reporting format before work begins. We then use this consistently across every location, helping the client compare information and manage the wider project more effectively.
Our experience includes survey programmes covering more than 300 active retail sites across the UK and Ireland. This work required accurate measurements, photographs and observations to support the planned installation of retail security equipment. To date, the surveys have achieved a 100% accuracy success rate.
